What's the budget for your ballroom deco?

If you have a LOT of money to spare, you could go crazy with the table centerpieces. Like, insteading of using monotone roses (the usual red, white etc.) got for more vibrant colourful flower pieces. Use like wildflowers or chrysanthemums and orchids of many colours to give it the mardi gras feel.

Also, you must remember that Mardi gras is always related to the Gay Festival so there HAS to be a lot of colour and vibrance. You could use feather boas to line to centerpiece of the table and use small multi-coloured candles.

It would also be a good idea to get chyrsanthemum (cheap) petals of at least three diff colours and loosely scatter them on the tables.

There's not much you can do with the room deco, coz normally the hotel does it for you. Thought it will them likely most be in gold.

If you've got enuf cash, go buy colourful cloth, get the measurement of the room, get colourful clothes like the colours of the rainbow,
and give them to the hotel staff and ask them to drape THOSE around the ceiling instead.

Hope this helped.

PEACE OUT

Owh...btw,

you guys gotta stop saying Mardi Gras is masquerade. Hahaha two completely different things my dear friend.

People don't wear masks to mardi gras. They wear beads and colourful costumes. Most dress as drag queens or birds or butterflies. Very party-like and informal.

I think that's one of your problems with advertising lor.. Coz most of my friends duwan to pay to go for an "unglamarous" ball.

Like if it were masquerade...its still pretty glamarous...but mardi gras is like vrey informal.

So which is it? Mardi Gras or Masquerade...because if it is Masquerade then the whole deco tips I gave you won't apply
